A monthly round-up

Hope you have had an excellent April, how we've come to the end of it I'm not entirely sure. I've realised I would like to be able to share some of the stuff that's going on, not just on Instagram, and about all of the different things I find interesting, I'm going to try and make this a monthly occurrence, but please know it will never be strictly acting related, but Sam related for sure.
Things that have been going on...
For some reason this month I have really been into lymph drainage - if you haven't come across Stop Chasing Pain on Instagram, check out the 'Big 6" Dr Perry recommends and try doing it daily. I realised that I really want to go for more facials, and having not found anyone near me yet I want to go to, I found some videos on YouTube to do it at home and I am a bit obsessed, my favourite is this one from Ksenija aka The Moments. I've been doing it every day and I'm probably imagining it but I swear my skin feels better.

Eczema relief
At the beginning of this year, much to my extreme frustration, I found I developed really bad eczema that would not go away. I tried a lot of different creams/treatments and the only thing I found to help me was these two creams from Dermatology M. They were absolute lifesavers and I can't recommend them enough.
If you sign up to their newsletter you get 15% off your first order. They're a bit pricy but really worth it in my opinion. I want to try the Bakuchiol Face Oil next because if the eczema cream is that good - I feel like I will look 10 years younger with the face oil.

It's Motorbike season again (yessssss)
We went out on the bikes a few times this month and it felt SO good to be back riding again. There is something really magical and healing about long motorbike rides, I almost feel like I don't understand why, because riding a motorbike doesn't sound like the sort of thing that brings space into your brain and lots of dopamine? It does though... The rides this month brought back a lot of memories of my ride up to Scotland a couple of years ago and how much I learned as a human and as a rider when I was up there. 1600 miles in a week brought a whole heap of wonderful people, beautiful views, and peace in my rather beaten-up brain at the time.
Family time
Easter holidays meant my family came to stay with me, and I went to see them, so there was much time with them, which was lovely. Easter egg hunts, steam-powered tractors, seagulls stealing sandwiches, seals on the beach, my niece's discovery of arcades. Many delightful times.
Me Made May
I just saw this video this morning, and it has made me smile so much every single time I watch it - please give yourself a giggle and click the link.
Me Made May is quite an event in the sewing/knitting community, started as a challenge by Sozo to wear something every day for the month of May that you made yourself. I've been doing it for years now, and can now quite easily wear at least one thing I made myself. This year I am going to document it a little bit more - maybe there will be extra blogs on here - but the challenge to myself is that I am also going to see if I can make as many entire outfits as possible completely MeMade.
We'll see what happens with that... I think the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride might be a bit of a challenge for that day, more on that next month.
